This complete pub quiz pack features eight entertaining rounds, all of which are themed around Easter...
Round 1: Handout Round - Egg Heads
This picture round features the images of 10 famous people who have been turned into boiled eggs! The aim for teams is to identify these people.
Round 2: Chicks and Chickens
10 questions on the themes of "chicks" and "chickens", such as "In 2011, as part of a survey conducted by Oxfam, which 1987 film was voted Britain's favourite chick-flick?
Round 3: Hot Cross Buns
10 general knowledge questions where each correct answer contains a word that can go with either “hot”, “cross” or “bun” to give a new phrase.
Round 4: Eggs
10 questions on the theme of eggs, such as "How are the eggs cooked in the dish Eggs Benedict? Are they fried, boiled, poached or scrambled?"
Round 5: Points Builder
5 questions on the general theme of Easter where question 1 requires 1 answer, question 2 requires 2 answers, and so on. Each individual answer is worth 1 point.
Round 6: Chocolate
10 questions on the theme of chocolate, such as "What nuts are used in the ingredients of a Toblerone?"
Round 7: Rabbits and Bunnies
10 questions on the themes of rabbits and bunnies, including "On the logo for Playboy, what item of clothing is the Playboy bunny wearing?"
Round 8: Trivia
10 questions on the general theme of Easter, such as "On what day of the week does Lent begin?"
The quiz is made up of 4 separate files as follows...
First of all there is a specially designed 2 page Easter answer sheet, which is to be printed out and distributed to each team at the start of the quiz for them to write their answers on as you read out questions. This also features a round by round scoresheet to make it easy to see how each team has performed after all the answers have been marked at the end of the quiz.
Secondly, there is the handout round, which again is to be printed out and distributed to each team at the start of the quiz for them to work on straight away, and carry on working on throughout the quiz and during any breaks you have.
Next there is a 4 page sheet featuring all the questions in rounds 2 to 8 for you to read out during the quiz, along with all the answers to these plus the answers to the handout round to be used at the end of the quiz to mark everyone's answers. This also features 2 Easter themed tie-break questions to be used at the end of your quiz if two or more teams end up with the same score.
Finally, there is a 4 page sheet featuring detailed round by round instructions and notes, plus general advice and recommendations on running the quiz.
